Something For The Weakend was originally just that- a band put together for a weekend’s work in Brussels. Four blokes with a mission- usually involving the emptying of bottles or barrels.

Pictured above, the band on the annual jaunt to Roscoff, Brittany, for St Patrick’s (lost) weekend. SFTW was a songs and tunes outfit which could also deliver a great ceilidh. Folk clubs and festivals, pubs and parties, they all blur into one good time. All put on ice now since main man Ray Warrick (the only Irishman in a band which often had to pretend to be Irish!) went off to drink Dublin dry. Sláinte, Ray!
